Who we are

SOMTELOS — somtelos.com and its subdomains — is operated by SOMFIN PRIVATE LIMITED, CIN U46512TN2025PTC179238, GSTIN 33ABPCS8843L1ZK, registered at IITM Research Park, 1FA I Floor, Kanagam Road, TTTI Taramani, Chennai, Tamil Nadu — 600113 (“SOMFIN”, “we”). By creating an account or using SOMTELOS you accept these terms.

The service

SOMTELOS is software for organising equity, income and tax-preparation data year-round, computing positions and readiness, and collaborating with a chartered accountant you engage. It is information, not advice: SOMFIN is not a CA firm and provides no tax, legal or investment advice. Computations exist for preparation and verification; responsibility for filings remains with you and any professional you engage, and any CA–client relationship is between you and your CA.

Accounts and organisations

Provide accurate information and keep your credentials safe — we support multi-factor authentication and passkeys. Organisation admins manage their organisation’s members, data and billing, and are responsible for activity conducted under their organisation.

Your data

Your data is yours. You grant us only the limited licence needed to host and process it to provide the service. We never sell it. The Privacy Policy governs its handling.

Fees and plans

Who a plan covers (the scope law). Pro and Premium — Individual are personal subscriptions: each entitles exactly one person — the buyer — within their organisation. Premium — Organisations covers the organisation, per seat. A member may purchase, manage, and cancel their own personal plan; an organisation’s plan is managed by its administrator.

Paid plans are annual subscriptions and renew automatically until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Card details are captured inside the secure payment flow at checkout and are never stored on SOMTELOS. Some features carry plan-based monthly allowances, shown on the pricing page and on your billing page. The Refund & Cancellation Policy applies.

Acceptable use

No unlawful use, no infringing or malicious uploads, no probing or disrupting the service, and no resale without our written agreement.

Availability and liability

We aim high, but the service is provided “as is” to the extent law permits. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding it; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time; deletion of your account and data is governed by the Privacy Policy. We may suspend accounts for material breach.

Law, changes and contact

These terms are governed by Indian law; courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction. We will notify material changes; continued use is acceptance. Questions: admin@thesomfin.com.
