What we collect

Your account details (name, email), your organisation’s records, the financial documents and figures you choose to add, and the technical logs needed to run and secure the service.

Why we process it

To provide the service you asked for, to secure it, to bill you, to support you, and to meet legal duties. Nothing else — no advertising, no selling of personal data, no third-party marketing.

Where it lives

Your data is stored and processed in India, encrypted in transit and at rest.

How your data is protected

Encryption in transit and at rest, strict access controls, and audit logging protect everything you add. Card details are captured inside the secure payment flow at checkout and are never stored on SOMTELOS. Everything that runs the service runs under our instructions and inside these same protections — your data is never sold, never shared for marketing, and never used for anyone else’s purposes.

AI in document reading

When you ask SOMTELOS to read a document, AI assists the extraction so the flow stays smooth — your figures land organised instead of retyped. It runs only on your request, inside the same encryption and access controls as everything else, and is used solely to serve that request — never for training, never for any other purpose. Nothing steps outside the service’s protections — no gap, no leak — and the output stays yours to verify on-screen, free.

Cookies

Functional only: a session cookie, and an optional trusted-device cookie if you choose to skip sign-in codes on a browser you trust. No advertising trackers.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you may access, correct and complete your data, seek erasure, raise a grievance, and nominate another person to exercise your rights. You may withdraw consent, and you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India. We retain data while your account or organisation is active and delete on request or account deletion, subject to legal retention periods for tax and audit records.
